The habit of lean on me

Everyday we go through life focused on our own problems. Wrapped in our own thought life.

What if we stopped to think every morning. I’d like to be somebody’s”lean on me” by forwarding a smile, opening the door, sending a decent email when the person on the other end is clearly in a bad mood or just clearly an irate grumpy person. Calling a friend this evening. Being kind to the waiter or PA.

Lean on me in this instance does not mean – depend fully and wholly and always / it means be somebody’s joy, patience, hope and smile today, this very moment.

A split second of kindness could leave ripples of positive change.

Today I texted my sister a good day. Small but significant “lean on me” ripple💫
