I saw a clip of two older men, one of them 54 years old and the other gentleman 84 years old performing acrobatics on stage. When you look at their physical apperance- you may think ” those guys perform acrobatics – not too sure about that as they don’t have the fittest physique at all” So wrong.  These two average looking older men with some weight around their bellies were able to move so flexibly and even propel each other into the air.

They practiced together for over 10 years getting these movements and lifts right. Equally importantly, they seemly sustained a growth mindset. Obstacles were undoubtedly in their way e.g their age and weight, but these two friends persevered and eventually performed on a stage fulfilling a life long dream.

Kindness towards ourselves causes us to push past comfort and work towards bigger life fulfilling goals. That great life filled with experiences and moments is available for many…
