The days of our lives
Some days fly by so fast, like a speeding train rushing past. I feel it too. But one thing that has helped me stay present is movement, pausing to sometimes re-prioritize my day linked to my values and a simple smile.
At least 50% of the time, I take a moment to stretch. It’s incredible how just a few seconds of intentional movement can shift my energy and bring me back to the present. These tiny pauses help me slow down and be more mindful of how I spend my time.
If your days are racing by and you feel like you need to catch your breath, ask yourself: What can I do to make life simpler? Sometimes, the answer reveals itself when we ask, If I don’t re-prioritize my time and activities, what might I miss—something that could have lasting consequences? It’s a big question, but an important one. Talking to a friend or a trusted family member who is thriving can also bring a valuable perspective.
And instead of asking, “Where did the day go?”, let’s ask, “Did I take a moment to savor today?”
Don’t waste time, live it intentionally, with courage, and with kindness.
