Gratitude: A helping hand

“Kindness is one of the greatest gifts we can offer each other in gesture or action. When someone is in need, may we  find the means wisely to lend a helping hand without waiting for a thank you or expecting anything in return. True kindness is found in the act of giving with no expectation of anything in return”  – The Kindness Change

Recently, I’ve been reflecting on moments of kindness that have touched my heart: a stranger making my son laugh, filling me with joy; a friend sending an encouraging message; being introduced to a more child-friendly playground by another mother; a stranger holding the door open for our baby stroller. These helpful gestures and actions from friends and strangers alike have been unexpected and so heartwarming.

Action/reflection:

How can you bestow a helping hand to someone?

Sometimes, the smallest actions can have the most profound impact—touching both the receiver and the giver.

One life, live it kinder, intentionally and courageously.
