Leading with Longevity: Move it

Someone close to me is unwell. A beautiful human being whose job involved a lot of sitting for years.

We’re not designed to spend most of our lives sitting. Research links prolonged sitting with higher risks of cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, and premature mortality—even for people who exercise regularly.

So let’s move. Walk. Stretch. Dance…several times a day!

This message is for all of us –  seemingly bound to the chair for long periods of time. Do we have the power to change this reality? Yes, I think so, if we want to live a little longer.

Other factors play a role in better living. Start with sitting less as step 1.

One life. Live it with courage, intention, and kindness.
