Adapting to Change
” May we find the peace to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can and wisdom to know the difference”
In these unprecedented times, A flight attendant loses his/her job because, flight after flight has been cancelled. What to do?
- Find a job that pays very well, but in doing so – it could take months before finding that ideal paying job.
- Or accept a job that is available, but does not pay as well as desired. It serves a good purpose though . E.g packing shelves in a super market or speaking to the elderly in care homes.
We are seeing many examples of people doing just that – assisting where the need is greatest. Their adaptability is far from easy as they will be more in the front line of experiencing the illness. But they are choosing the “growth mindset” path however complicated at first.
These are incredible examples of speed, agility and adaptability – kindness too.
Heroes by chance… our thoughts and prayers are with all these amazing people.
Stay well and Safe.
One life – live it kinder.
