Deeper Joy: Rinse your heart today
I recently heard someone say, “Rinse your heart”—to wash away the frustration, anger, and negativity we collect throughout the week.
This week asked a little more of me. I carried extra responsibilities at home, with a little one who wasn’t feeling well. There were moments when I felt tired and frustrated.
“But as I look back now, on this Friday, gratitude rises to the surface. I’m thankful for the extra hugs from my toddler and for the simple fact that we made it through most of the week together. Also, an amazing husband who left kind messages throughout the week…”
So today, I rinse my heart of those moments of frustration. I choose gratitude, and I welcome the reminder that each new morning brings another chance for renewed hope, a chance to look for joy and take action.
One life, live it with kindness, courage, and intention.
