Lots of love for Chicken curry

Am currently visiting my family in Denmark. As I love a good home cooked curry, especially my mum’s curries- I make it a habit of having our beloved family dish “chicken curry” each time I visit.

With all new kindness habits one of them being eating healthier – more veg in every dish – I made a few adjustments on this trip when it came to eating healthier. Like cutting down on rice, eating more salad and volunteering to cook dinner for the family so I could sneak in more greens. Laughing as I write this… as some family members think I am a bit crazy in cutting down on some of the ” good stuff” especially during a holiday.

Holiday or no holiday, in the long run the ” good stuff” too much sugar can have a pretty negative affect on our overall health.

Investing in our health is one of the best investments we can make. Even if some of the changes can be pretty big.

Here are a few insights to eating healthy whilst visiting family for a week e.g :

1) save up extra money so you can buy extra fruit and veg for you/the family

2) volunteer to cook dinner on one of the nights

3) cut down on starchy food and sugary treats

Overall – eat more of the stuff that makes you feel good and have a good time. It’s a win win situation.

Loving beautiful Denmark this week.

One life – live it kinder
