Set out to do 3 things today to experience JOY:
- Close your eyes, take a deep breath, let out a smile and thank God for three things you’re grateful for. Mine are: my ability to smile, my optimistic expectation of today and my sense of hope.
- This might sound funny, but sing to yourself! research shows that singing decreases both anxiety and depression. So I encourage you to sing in the shower, sing on your way to work. Sing when you are cooking today – whenever you have some time by yourself to sing – give it a go!
- Eat at least one healthy meal today, which includes some colourful veggies – your body will thank you 🙂
