Leading with Longevity: 5 minutes to get started
Sometimes, when we think too far ahead, we don’t begin at all.
The big picture can feel… too big. And in that pause, in that hesitation, we choose inaction—often without realising it.
So instead, come back to something smaller. Something lighter.
“Just five minutes”
Five minutes to get dressed for movement—at home or outside.
Five minutes to prep some vegetables for later.
Five minutes to block a small space in your diary—perhaps every Thursday—to reach out to a friend.
Five minutes to clear a few old emails.
Not to finish everything. Just to begin.
Because starting, even gently, often quiets the overthinking. Action brings a kind of clarity that thinking alone cannot.
Five minutes can shift the direction of your day.
So… what will you do with yours?
5 minutes – Ready, steady—move (begin).
One life—live it with kindness, intention, and courage.
