Evening gratitude

Throughout the day, simple wonders happen all around us. Such as waking up pain-free. Sleeping in a bed rather than on a hard floor. Crossing the street safely. We reached our destination without trouble, laughing, and took a peaceful nap on a hot summer afternoon.

What if we paused to truly notice these small miracles — the gentle graces scattered across the hours? Wouldn’t they fill us up from the inside out?

Writing this just before I lay my head down reminds me of God’s blessings throughout the day — the ones I’ve overlooked, or forgotten, or taken for granted far too often.

As you wind down for the evening, what little gifts from today can you hold in gratitude?

One life, live it kinder, and a little braver.

xx
